Grounded Mango & Papaya Coffee Scrub – Full Review

Happy Friday folks! I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas and you’re still feeling like little stuffed piglets from all the fab food.

Despite taking on the task of Blogmas and making myself unbelievably exhausted throughout the entire month by blogging every day whilst also working full time, I’ve still promised myself that I’ll post at least once a week to keep my blog active. Commitment is a big thing for me so if I say I’m gonna do it, it’s happening.

I was lucky enough to receive a package from Grounded in the post several months back and I’ve been putting their body scrub to the test ever since and planning this blog post in the mean time. Up until this package came through my door, I’ve never really been into body scrubs but I’m fully converted and hooked on this product after using it religiously since it arrived.

Who are Grounded?

Grounded are the UK’s leading coffee scrub company who appeared on Dragon’s Den in 2016. The brand was created by Tasha Harris and Lloyd Hazell, a couple who live in Leigh-On-Sea and the products were originally created for Tasha to use on eczema that she had suffered with for her whole life. She found it was the only product that worked for her and cured her dry skin and so be it, Grounded Coffee Scrubs was born.

They are now stocked in a variety of different stores and retailers including Boots (where I’ve actually spotted the products before!) and Holland & Barrett.

What is the coffee scrub?

The product I received is pretty self explanatory really and is exactly what it says on the packet. This finely milled coffee mixture is scented with papaya and mango (absolutely delicious!) and is designed to exfoliate the top layer of your skin cells. The scrub includes Robusta coffee, coconut oil and sweet almond oil, sugar, salt and vitamin E. These ingredients will help to scrub away any impurities and detox whilst leaving your skin feeling cleansed, moisturised and firmed.

How did I get on with it?

As somebody who hasn’t ever really used body scrubs (only normally when I’m fake tanning) I was really surprised at how much I liked this scrub! Despite not liking the taste of coffee, I absolutely love the smell and to have it mixed with the scent of papaya and mango – complete dream. If you also love fruity scents, give this scrub a go because it smells divine! I really want to try the orange scented one because orange is without a doubt my favourite scent and I know I now need it more than ever.

Any cons?

To be completely honest, no not really! I found the packaging a little difficult to get along with at first as it’s made of a paper material and with wet hands, it’s tricky to not drop the packet into the bath! However, I found that the best way is to pour the scrub into the palm of your hand rather than putting your soggy hand into the packet and covering your whole arm in coffee! It’s the easiest way and not as messy too.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you’ve enjoyed the post. I can’t wait to try more from Grounded (hopefully the orange one!) and as soon as I do, I’ll have another post up straight away.

Until next time,

Georgia x

BLOGMAS DAY 25 – My Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to all of you! I’m not expecting this post to gain a lot of views as people are busy little bees on Christmas Day and have much better things to do that be reading about what I’m up to. However, for those of you that are now led in bed reading this after eating far too much leftover food this evening – this post is for you. I know full well that after a good buffet, I’m suddenly tackling a food coma and I like to lie in bed for a little while. What better way to spend that time than reading a few blog posts? If this is you, then a massive thank you and I hope you’ve had as wonderful a Christmas as I have!

6:30 – Morning Wake Up & Presents!

On Christmas morning, my love for sleep goes out the window and I’m wide awake bright and early, ready to open presents. This year it was 6:30 when myself, my sisters and my parents rose and although I didn’t get asleep until gone 2am (I can never bloody sleep on Christmas Eve!) I didn’t even feel tired.

As tradition, my mum had hung my stocking full of sweeties and a classic Terry’s Chocolate Orange on my bedroom door handle so I grabbed it on my way out of the door and set off downstairs to turn into a little kid as I do every Christmas morning.

My mum always has our presents organised into piles for each of my sisters and I and whilst we pick a spot on each of the sofas, she sets up camp on the floor, right next to the Christmas tree and hands a present to each of us to open at the same time. Her and my step-dad also do a present exchange each time as normally, we all have about the same number of presents.

Our puppy Arnie and my sister’s puppy Luna spent the whole morning curled up on my lap in their matching Christmas jumpers and were so unbelievably well behaved considering they’re normally running wild around the house.

We had a little break every now and then for a top up on orange juice or to grab a few more Quality Streets to snack on but by about 9AM, we’d finished opening everything and were all on mission clean up before the dogs ate all of the wrapping paper.

I won’t share all of my gifts in this post as otherwise we’ll be here all day so I’ll only share two of them with you. However, if you’d like to know what other gifts I opened this morning then please let me know in the comments section and I’ll create a separate post specifically for that.

My favourite present of them all was of course, my main gift. This was the lipstick vault from Laura Mercier and I’m completely in love (blog post to follow in 2018!) I had absolutely no idea what my main gift was going to be this year and was so over the moon when I opened it up. I attended a Laura Mercier event several months ago and fell head over heels in love with this lipstick vault. However, it was right before payday and I couldn’t justify the high price point at that time of month. I went home after the event and told my mum all about how amazing this lipstick vault was and how sad I was that I couldn’t have it. My mum being the sneaky but incredible lady she is, took a trip to Harvey Nichols the following day and picked it up for me as my main gift.

The funny part? She fell in love with it so much too that she very nearly kept it for herself and for this reason, my step-dad went to Harvey Nichols the following day and bought her the last one that they had as a surprise present for her. She was also over the moon when she opened hers.

The other present that stood out massively to me was the first one that I opened. If you know me well, you’ll know that I have a little bit of a soft spot for donkeys. They always look super sad and I find it bloody adorable so to open my first gift on Christmas morning and discover that my parents have adopted a donkey for me made me so happy. Her name is Bonnie, she lives in Devon in the Donkey Sanctuary and next time I’m in Devon I’ll be sure to visit her!

12:30 – Glam Up Or Go Home

Of course I can’t get through Christmas Day without feeling glam AF so I spent about an hour getting myself dolled up using the Morphe 3502 palette (a birthday present from my sister!) and got myself ready for the day. Every year my sister and I take a Christmas Day selfie so I’ll share those below too along with my make-up look for the day.

2:00 – Stuff Your Faces Time

Undoubtedly my favourite part of Christmas – DINNER TIME!

I think the fact that I’m more excited for food at Christmas time than presents speaks a thousand words and it’s a true sign that I’m no longer a kid. I live for the roast potatoes, honey roast gammon and pigs in blankets so my plate is piled high and always cleared.

My mum always decorates the table beautifully too and this year, opted for a purple and silver theme which was stunning.

8:00 Onwards – Poker Party

Another tradition for my family is to get merry whilst playing poker and stuffing our faces with buffet food all evening.

My step-dad owns a whole poker set featuring a full on felt poker table with drink holders included (very handy!) and when the poker table comes out, you know shit’s going down. For once I actually did really bloody well this year! Not sure if this was because I’d had a few too many vodkas and was getting a bit confident and cocky or whether it was just pure luck but nonetheless, it was a great game.

There we have a run down of my Christmas Day and final day of Blogmas is complete! Pretty surprised and proud of myself for completing this challenge and just want to say a MASSIVE thank you to each and every person that has supported me throughout the past 25 days by reading posts, liking them, following my blog and leaving comments! I never expected to receive the amount of support that I’ve had and I’m unbelievably grateful.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas, been spoilt rotten and you have a fab Boxing Day too! New posts will be coming very soon but I’ll be taking a well deserved break for a couple of days.

Thank you so much for reading this post and don’t forget to leave a comment below to let me know if you’d like a ‘What I Got For Christmas’ blog post.

Until next time,

BLOGMAS DAY 24 – December Best Moments

As it’s Christmas Eve today, I thought that it would be a nice idea to create a list of all the lovely and wonderful things that have happened over the past month that have made me some amazing memories and unbelievably happy.

December is my favourite month of the whole year what with it being my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one and I’m always a real busy bee. Carry on reading to find out what I’ve been up to over the past month.

A Girl’s Night Out

I hadn’t had a night out with my best ones in such a long time and it was well overdue. I enjoyed an evening with the girls drinking too many cocktails and dancing the night away. It also gave me an excuse to get dressed up for the evening and get my hair done which was a fab little treat.

Work Christmas Meal

Despite the fact I only joined House Of Fraser about 4 months ago, I’ve settled so quickly and made myself a really lovely lot of friends in there. Our beauty Christmas meal was at Brown’s in Bristol. The food was beautiful, the company was perfect and overall it was just a lovely evening.

Shopping Trip To Clark’s Village, Street – For My Birthday

I love nothing more than a good shopping trip so to spend my birthday treating myself and spending lots of money made me a very happy bunny. I picked up so many goodies (all of which are in a blog post you can find here) and had the best GBK burger to date.

Meal At The Ivy, Clifton – For Egija’s Birthday

I’ve never ever been to The Ivy in Clifton before but hear countless people saying about how incredible the food is, all the time. I was invited along to a friend’s birthday dinner there and I can 100% see why it’s so hyped about. The food was incredible, service perfect and I had the most wonderful evening eating delicious food and sipping Prosecco.

Those are my top memories for December and ones that will stick with me for a very long time. I’m going to make it my mission in 2018 to write a post every month about all the things I’ve been grateful for as the way I see it, it spreads positivity and gives me some amazing posts to reflect on at a later date, too.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you’ve enjoyed the post!

Merry Christmas to all of you! Thank you again to all of you for supporting my Blogmas challenge over the past month. It hasn’t gone unnoticed and has helped motivate me to complete and finish Blogmas so for that, I thank you massively!

Until next time,

Georgia x

BLOGMAS DAY 23 – Winter Multi-Masking

Everybody who follows my blog and Instagram knows how much of an ultimate skincare addict I am so it’s only right that I squeeze in another skincare post before Blogmas is over.

I love me a good face mask and nothing I better for me than spending my night curled up infront of the TV watching Christmas films, eating Celebrations and slapping on a face mask.

Here are my top face masks for use during the Winter.

Hydration Mask – Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Mask

This has been a cult favourite of mine for about a year now and I’m absolutely obsessed with the way they make my skin look and feel. These masks are super hydrating, so soothing if your skin feels agitated or ‘angry’ and gives the best glow imaginable.

Detox Mask – Loreal Pure Clay Detox

As somebody with dry skin, I find it really difficult to find a detox mask that doesn’t make my face thirsty as hell. I’ve tested and tried so many masks over the years and despite having loads of different ones amongst my collection, this Loreal mask is my go-to when my skin feels congested and bunged up.

Firming Mask – GlamGlow GravityMud Mask

Before any event or night out, I use a firming treatment mask to make my skin look the best it possibly can for a full face of glam. The Gravity Mud from GlamGlow is the only firming treatment mask where I notice instant results. After one use, my skin looks different and my make-up always applies beautifully straight after using it.

Overnight Mask – GlamGlow ThirstyMud

As you can probably tell, GlamGlow is my favourite brand for face masks. Their ThirstyMud is one of my favourites amongst their whole range and I can’t live without it. Not only can this honey and coconut infused pot of goodness be used as a 10 minute treatment but it can also be used as a daily moisturiser or overnight treatment. It smells delicious and makes skin feel beautiful.

Now you all know my Winter saviours and go-to products for multi-masking during the colder months and festive period and hopefully I’ve inspired a few of you to treat yourself to some new skincare goodies during the new year!

Thank you so much for reading and until next time,

BLOGMAS DAY 22 – Top 10 Tips For Last Minute Christmas Shoppers

As Christmas creeps closer than ever, those of you that haven’t yet done your festive shopping will probably be getting increasingly stressed out.

I personally left mine later than normal but still gave myself a reasonable amount of time to get things done and all that’s left for me now is to purchase a few gift bags and finish off my wrapping.

Working in retail, I witness first hand how chaotic shopping can be and in order to tackle the challenge of last minute shopping, it’s vital to be as prepared as possible.

Below are my top 10 tips to help you survive any last minute Christmas shopping you have to do.

  1. Write a list and make it detailed
  2. Take shopping bags with you because otherwise you’ll be spending a ridiculous amount of money on plastic carrier bags
  3. Have a back up plan incase what you’ve planned to buy isn’t in stock
  4. Be patient and expect queues! Leaving it late means you’re bound to get stuck in massive queues of waiting people
  5. Do your research to know where the best deals are
  6. Shop as early as possible in the day because between 12 and 2, the shops are rammed
  7. Pit stop and refuel! Start the day with a good breakfast and make sure you have a decent lunch too
  8. Take some cash with you instead of just carrying card – just incase the card machine in a store is broken
  9. If you see a potential gift, pick it up and keep hold of it! You never know if it’s gonna  get bought my somebody else and you can always return it if need be
  10. Get gift receipts with every purchase just in case what you buy isn’t exactly right

That’s it for my top tips. Good luck with your shopping and be prepared!

Enjoy the run up to Christmas and make sure to relax as much as you can.

Until next time,

BLOGMAS DAY 21 – December Favourites

I haven’t done a monthly favourites in a pretty long time so thought I’d include one for December amongst my Blogmas series! I’ve been trying out a lot of new products within the beauty and skincare category this month so this post had definitely been an easy one to plan and come up with. If you want to find out what products I’ve been loving this month then keep on reading!

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil In ‘Tangerine’ – £19.00

I’ve used the Clarins lip oils for quite a few years but recently purchased the Tangerine flavoured/scented one. I’m a massive fan of anything with a citrus scent and taste so knew that I’d be a fan of it but I’ve literally been wearing this non-stop. I personally find that typical lip balms don’t really do much for me during the winter months when my lips are really dry but these lip oils work wonders for me./ I wear this to bed every night and let it hydrate my lips whilst I sleep.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick In ‘Amazing Grace’ – £23.00

Never in my life did I think I’d hear myself saying that I was loving a coral toned lipstick but here I am, loving a coral toned lipstick. I dunno, I guess I’ve just never been a fan of corals on me but this lipstick is beautiful. It’s a coral/pink tone, goes with so many everyday make-up looks and gives a lovely pop of colour. The formula is smooth, creamy and comfortable but stays in place for a good few hours too. I also love the packaging and shape of the lipstick itself. It’s sharply angled and applies effortlessly.

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter – £10.00

This has hands down been my most loved cleanser over the past month! I’ve very nearly used up another little tin of the stuff and I’ve already got a back-up at the ready. This cleansing butter (or balm as I call it) melts all makeup away and leaves skin feeling clean, soft, hydrated and refreshed. It’s also one of the only cleansing butters that doesn’t seem to make my eyes sting!

Soph X Make-up Revolution Eyeshadow Palette – £10.00

If you read yesterday’s Blogmas post you’ll know how much I love this palette! Instead of repeating myself all over again, I’ll link my full review here instead. Have a read and leave a comment!

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara – £22.00

I received a sample of this a few months back when I visited my local Marc Jacobs counter in John Lewis Bristol for a makeover and fell head over heels in love with it. This mascara is hands down my favourite mascara of 2017 and I can’t wait to purchase the full size! This mascara makes my lashes absolutely huge, thickens them and makes them jet black too. Everything I look for in a mascara is delivered with this beauty!

Dior Forever Foundation – £35.00

I’ve always been a massive fan of Dior base products and can’t get enough of their Star foundation. I love how beautifully glowy it is and how it looks behind a camera too! It’s my go-to for Instagram photos or nights out because I know it’ll never let me down.

Having dry skin I’ve always been skeptical of using matte foundations but decided to try a sample of Dior Forever foundation to see how I got along with it compared to the Skin foundation. Although completely different on so many levels, I absolutely love Forever! It makes my skin look airbrushed, flawless and gives the most stunning full coverage. It’s my new go-to Winter foundation.

So, there we have my current beauty favourites and products that I’ve been obsessed with during the month of December so far! There are more but if I listed them all I’d be here all day so I’ll keep it short and sweet for now and possibly create a part 2 later in the month.

Thank you so much for reading and continually supporting my Blogmas series! Hope you’re enjoying the posts as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them.

Make sure you ‘like’ this post if you did enjoy reading, follow my little blog and leave a comment down below too.

Until next time,

BLOGMAS DAY 20 – What’s In My Winter Make-Up Bag?

Happy Thursday folks! How the hell is it Christmas in 5 days time?! The past month has absolutely flown by and I feel as if Christmas has jumped upon us quicker than ever. I’m nowhere near prepared and there’s definitely not enough hours in the day to do everything.

I’m sure this is the case for everybody but I change my make-up products every season as my skin constantly changes with the weather. In the winter, I definitely go for a more matte finish to my skin, more blusher than bronzer and slightly cooler tones on my eyes too sometimes. I thought it would be a nice idea to share my Winter make-up bag for day 20 of Blogmas so here we go.

bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation

Most of the year, I stay clear of powders as much as possible as I want the glowiest complexion possible. In the Winter however, I definitely embrace a more matte look regularly and tend to wear this powder by itself (or with a very light tinted moisturiser underneath) for a flawless, easily buildable base.

Loreal Infallible Blush Palette

Why have one blush when you can have five?! I’m so indecisive and I change my mind every day on what colours and tones I want to wear so this palette is perfect. It has a mixture of mattes and shimmers along with various different tones of pink. This palette is also beautiful on the eyes!

Soph X Make-Up Revolution Highlighter Palette

I’ve raved about her eyeshadow palette non-stop here on my blog so now’s the time her highlighter palette gets the spotlight too. If you like to be glowy enough that you’re visible from space, this is the palette for you! Super bright, super pigmented and a beautiful mix of light, medium and deep tones – this highlighter palette is everything you could wish for.

Smashbox Covershot Smoky Palette

I think it’s only right to rock your most bold smoky eye throughout the Winter. After all, it’s Christmas and you’ve gotta stand out in the crowd, right?  This palette is the easiest for creating the ultimate smoky eye as it features the most perfect base, transition and lid colours possible that work for every skin tone.

Mac Velvet Teddy

Undoubtedly one of the most famous lipsticks in makeup history. Made famous by Kylie Jenner, this MAC lipstick is the perfect matte nude and suits every skin tone. It’s comfortable, easy to wear with any make-up look and I’m wearing it non-stop this Winter.

There we have my current, day-to-day make-up bag that takes me about 5 minutes to slap on my face and get out the door! Of course there are other products here and there that I use but these are the staple ones that make the biggest impact.

Thank you so much for reading as always and hope you’ve enjoyed the post!

Until next time,

Georgia x

BLOGMAS DAY 19 – Soph X Make-up Revolution Eyeshadow Palette – Review & Swatches

Although I’ve had this palette for quite a while, I realised that I’ve never actually reviewed it or swatched it on my blog or Instagram so felt it was only right to do it for day 19 of Blogmas!

Soph Does Nails is one of my favourite YouTubers out there as she’s so incredibly humble, down to earth and just generally lovely. When I found out that she was releasing a palette with Make-up Revolution, I knew I needed it in my collection. My friend Marta picked it up first and after hearing her rave about it (I was surprised as she normally isn’t a fan of make-up revolution shadows!) and seeing her swatches, I popped out to my local Superdrug to add it into my palette collection.

I didn’t test it or swatch it in store as I already knew it would be of a good quality but I never expected it to be as outstanding as it actually was.

The shadows are smooth, pigmented and creamy as hell. They blend like a dream, don’t have a ridiculous amount of fall out and the shade range is exceptional. This palette is perfect for any look whether it be matte, metallic, day-to-day or your out out look. It also comes with a massive mirror which in my opinion, is essential in every eyeshadow palette! You simply never know when you’re gonna need to apply eyeshadow so it’s good to have a mirror incase you’re on the go.

Now for the swatches:

Swatches are from top to bottom and left to right in the palette.

My favourite row is without a doubt the 3rd row as those bright red/orange tones speak to me on a whole different level. The green is also absolutely stunning.

Overall, I love this palette! it’s easy to create so many looks and blends like a dream. The best part? It’s only £10! If you haven’t already, definitely pick this beauty up if you can.

Thank you so much for reading as always and please feel free to leave any comments or questions below.

Until next time,

Georgia x

BLOGMAS DAY 18 – 10 Stocking Filler Ideas

In my family we’ve always had the traditional stocking of sweets and chocolate but I know that in most other families, they have a stocking with small gifts inside. I love this idea and although it’s not something we do in my household, I wanted to create some stocking ideas for those who do.

Hopefully this little list of 10 ideas will help you to find those last few bits and bobs you need to finish off that festive stocking!

Fluffy Socks – Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a pair of soft, fluffy socks to open up and wear on Christmas morning? Everybody deserves a pair for Christmas and they’re a perfect cheap and cheerful, little gift

Lip Balm – An essential in every handbag and needed more than ever during the colder months, lip balm is a great and easy little gift to pick up and put in any stocking

Face Masks – To me, nothing shouts ‘pamper evening’ more than a relaxing face mask (along with a packet of chocolate biscuits too of course!) so whether it be cheap mud masks or sheet masks, these little ‘pampers in a packet’ make a lovely gift for anybody

Nail Varnish – I think nail varnishes make a great gift but simply for the fact that they’re really fiddly and annoying to wrap up individually, they get a space in my stocking filler ideas list! Wrap ’em up in pairs, chuck ’em in the stocking and you’re good to go

Cotton Pads/Face Wipes – Those annoying little buggers that actually come in extremely handy throughout the year and you become very thankful that you were gifted them because it saves you a trip to Boots

Bath Bombs – Whether they’re purchased from Lush, Boots or Bomb Cosmetics, you can’t go wrong with a little ball of bath fizzing goodness. There are so many on the market nowadays so there’s sure to be a scent perfect for who you’re buying for!

Chocolate – Need I say more? Chocolate makes my world go round and I have a seriously unhealthy addiction to the stuff. It’s tradition to receive at least some form of chocolate, every Christmas

Dry Shampoo – A little essential that everybody needs. I always have a can of dry shampoo in my hand bag to add volume and banish oils on the go

Mini Mascaras – Surprisingly, I actually prefer mini mascaras to full sized ones! Realistically, I never use up a full sized mascara within the recommended 4 month window but a mini mascara is just the perfect size and doesn’t end up going to waste

Gift Cards – Possibly the easiest present on the planet to give somebody? I personally love receiving gift cards for Christmas! It gives me the opportunity to spend money in the sales and choose exactly what I want

There we have it, a list of 10 items that I’d personally love to receive in a stocking for Christmas (I think I have good taste so hopefully they’re perfect gifts for others too!) so I hope this list has been helpful and you’ve enjoyed the read.

Don’t forget to like this post if you enjoyed it and follow my blog as it’s greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for reading as always.

Until next time,

BLOGMAS DAY 17 – I’m feeling’ 22 – Birthday Haul

Yesterday was my 22nd birthday and I thought it was only right to create a little haul of everything that I received and purchased myself whilst shopping in the afternoon. I’ll keep it as short and sweet as possible because when you’re blogging everyday like I am, writing posts that are 800+ words becomes simply impossible and incredibly time consuming.

Tarte Tarteist Trove Collectors Set – £46

This was something that as soon as I set eyes on it, I knew it needed to be mine. I’m a massive fan of Tarte products (as I’m sure a lot of people who follow my blog/Instagram are aware of) and every birthday/Christmas I always ask for a few new items from Tarte. This palette was first on my list and I’m so glad my Mumma and Step-Dad treated me too it.

This palette features 24 amazonian clay eyeshadows, a blush, bronzer and highlighter, a mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss. It’s a beautiful set with the most incredible packaging and I can’t wait to get stuck in and use it all.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer & Quickie Blending Sponge – £28.02

After seeing everybody and their dog raving about this concealer on Instagram and YouTube, I gave in, followed the crowd like the little sheep I am and put it on my Birthday/Christmas list. The set on QVC UK comes with a little blending sponge too which according to my Mum who already owns it, is incredible so I’m really excited to see how that performs too.

Armani Code Colonia – £52

Despite this being a men’s fragrance, I absolutely love wearing it myself. There are a lot of perfumes that I can’t wear due to regularly suffering with migraines but I seem to be okay when wearing this Armani one.

Morphe 3502 – £23

Initially, I didn’t think I needed this palette. However, after seeing a blogger friend of mine using it on Instagram, I very quickly changed mind and asked my sister for it as a birthday present. Upon opening it yesterday morning, I was in complete awe with how beautiful it is and how simply stunning the shades within the palette are.

New Look Mustard Yellow Bobble Hat – £7.99

I’ve wanted this little hat for god knows how long and anything mustard yellow wins my heart in an instant. My lovely and thoughtful friend Megan showed up at my house with this exact hat yesterday evening, wrapped in pretty tissue paper and pink bows and made my day more than anybody will understand. Thank you Megan, you’re so thoughtful and I’m so lucky. This will undoubtedly be a staple within my Winter wardrobe.

Black Winston Decon Suede Vans – £55

I used to have a traditional pair of Vans a few years back but they became completely wrecked due to wearing them all day every day to college. Although these Vans look like the traditional ‘Authentic’ range, they have a baby pink interior and the outside is made of black suede. They’re girly, comfy, easy to style and have a touch of pink – what more could you want?

Fiorelli Mckenzie North South Tote Bag – £64

For some reason this year, I’m living for bright red and love wearing it for a pop of colour during the Winter.

I haven’t bought myself a new bag in ages because I’ve been searching for a decent sized one that will also fit my laptop for when I want to blog on the go. Up until now, I’ve not found a bag that fitted the brief until today when I spotted this beauty. It’s bright red, has space for my little laptop and has enough space for everything else too!

Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Body & Hand Wash – £30

To add to my ever-growing collection of Jo Malone Body & Hand washes, I treated myself to this newbie. I love anything fruity and citrus scented to this particular product is literally perfect for me.

Smashbox Primerizer – £30

I use this primer every single day without fail as it’s the most hydrating primer I think I’ve ever come across. Although it has a built in moisturiser, I still use my other moisturiser alongside it as my skin is hella dehydrated but this keeps my make-up in place all day long and makes my skin feel refreshed, hydrated and plumped up too.

MAC In The Flesh Eyeshadow Palette – £49.50

Recently I’ve been stepping away from my normal comfort zone of warm tones and experimenting with cooler tones instead. This palette is packed full of neutral, cool toned shades and creates a quick look effortlessly. I can’t wait to start using this palette.

There we have it for my birthday haul! I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed receiving and buying all these goodies. As always, please leave any questions below and thank you so much for reading.

Until next time,

Georgia x
