I hope you’re all well and have been enjoying the winter weather. Winter is my favourite month as there’s nothing I love more than warm toned eyeshadows and a classic berry lip. I guess a new season is just another excuse to be spending far too much money on new make-up but the good news is, I can share it with all of you and give you my honest thoughts and opinions on what’s new in the crazy world of beauty.
I’m so excited to be sharing this post with you as I have nothing but good things to say about these products and love sharing positive reviews with you guys. So, thank you for tuning in and I hope you enjoy the read.
As expected, I imagine a lot of you are currently thinking ‘What’s Queen Esoteric?’ as you’ve probably not heard of this fabulous company just yet. I’ll explain a little bit about the brand and how I fell in love with the products before I continue on to share swatches and thoughts about the products.
What is Queen Esoteric?
Queen Esoteric is a brand new company that was created by a lovely friend of mine named Chanel. This company stands for equality and embracing your natural beauty regardless of your race, age or gender. I absolutely love everything this brand stands for and believe that make-up should indeed be created for absolutely anybody who wishes to wear it. Chanel worked hard to create shades and tones that suit all skin tones and the products are absolutely to die for. What more could you want, right?
I was lucky enough to attend the launch party for the Queen Esoteric products and be one of the first people to get my hands on the fabulous new products. I was like a kid in a sweet shop. Honestly, it was heavenly. I was greeted by a beautiful golden carpet, complimentary glasses of pink champagne and the most incredible sweet table I could wish for. The make-up display was stunning and I instantly knew exactly what products I wanted after a quick go of swatching them on my hand. Since then i’ve well and truly put every single product that I purchased to the test and can hand on heart say, I’m in love with everything.
Liquid Lipsticks: (£15)
I purchased the shades ‘The Cat That Got The Cream,’ ‘My Wonderland’ and ‘Who Cares About Coco?’ All of these shades are completely different as I wanted to test the pigmentation of a variety of shades. Quite often with liquid lipsticks, certain shades are drier/flakier/more patchy than others but within the Queen Esoteric range, all shades are consistent in formula and pigmentation which means that no matter what shade you go for, you’ll be impressed.
The applicator for these liquid lipsticks are the standard doefoot applicator (basically a sponge on a stick in English) which results in a quick, easy and mess-proof application. The formula itself dries really quickly which is perfect for when you’re in a rush whilst getting ready. They dry slightly darker than the initial application but stay within the same shade/tone so still look lovely. They’re comfortable to wear and don’t make your lips feel like the Sahara desert (coming from somebody who has extremely dry lips, that’s a massive thing!) They also wear off nicely, without leaving the dreaded ‘lipstick line’ or flaking all over your face.
Eyebrow Pomade: (£15)
This was the one product that initially I wasn’t too sure if i’d be keen on. Simply because i’m SO picky when it comes to my eyebrows, how they look and what products I put through them. I naturally have extremely thick and coarse brows so too much product can easily look awful on me and generally, I don’t get on will with pomades. However, with this one I was pleasantly surprised. A tiny bit of product goes such a long way which means that it’s easy to create a natural finish and texture whilst using it. I tend to use it to underline my brow and fill in the tail and often leave the head of my brow untouched. This way it doesn’t look like too much product and still compliments the rest of my make-up nicely. Over the years i’ve come to learn that thickly drawn on eyebrows really distract from the rest of my make-up so I usually try to make them look as naturally shaped as possible.
Eyeshadow Palette: (£30)
This palette has been my go-to ever since the day I went to the launch party. The Queen Esoteric 1 palette offers beautiful autumnal warm shades to suit every skin tone. The colours are literally just stunning and the pigment of these shadows are insane. I was so impressed by the quality of this palette considering how affordable it is and I reach for it on a regular basis when getting ready. The shadows are like I said, extremely pigmented and the formula is so soft and buttery. Each and every shade blend beautifully into one another regardless of whether they’re matte or metallic. The packaging is sturdy and perfect for travelling. I literally love this palette. I’ve got everything crossed that Chanel launches more palettes in the future as i’m sure to buy every single one.

I’d just like to clarify that my views and opinions on these products are not biased based on the fact that Chanel is a friend of mine. I genuinely love these products and would always be honest with my reviews.
