Welcome back guys! Hope you’re all well and beating the January blues as much as you possibly can.
I thought with the new year it would be a good idea to start a new series here on my blog and tell you guys all about what new products I’ve picked up each month. I hope it goes down well and if you enjoy it make sure to let me know so that I can continue creating this type of post for you to read.
Nip + Fab Bee Sting Fix Lifting Mask
I’ve always been a big fan of Nip + Fab skincare (and recently their beauty range too) and when I saw this mask whilst browsing for some new skincare items, I couldn’t resist. Surely there’s nothing better than a skincare item that terrifies you a little bit, right? So here I am now, writing this post whilst trying out my new face mask thats infused with bee venom.
Not gonna lie, it does feel pretty tingly and slightly on the verge of painful but let’s run with it and see what happens. I’ll keep you updated and we’ll see if this one makes it into my January favourites! You can find this mask here.
The Body Shop Metallic Lip Liquids
I’ve always been unsure of metallic liquid lipsticks as I already have a few and personally don’t like them on myself. However, I saw these gems in my local Body Shop for only £4 each so I couldn’t resist them as they were an absolute steal. Turns out, I bloody love them! Especially the shade ‘Pink Nickel.’
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Rose & Lavender Limited Edition
I’ve used the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser for I don’t know how long and always end up getting my hands on the limited edition scents. My favourite for a long time was the Orange scented one but this one has surprisingly crept into the top spot. Despite it being rose scented (something I normally hate!) I absolutely love this product and it’s unique smell.
If you’re a fan of the traditional hot cloth cleanser from Liz Earle (or even if you’ve never tried it actually!) definitely give this one a go as it’s lovely. You can find this cleanser here if you’re interested.
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
The cold weather has been absolutely destroying my skin recently and it’s even more thirsty than normal so I decided to pick up the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask after hearing so many positive reviews about it. I personally love a face mask that can be left on overnight as it’s easy, hassle free and you know it’s working wonders whilst you’re catching your beauty sleep. I can’t wait to see what results I get from this product. You can find this mask here.
Smashbox Be Legendary Triple Toned Lipstick – Red Ombre
As much as I love an ombre lip, they’re one hell of a faff to get right when you’re playing around with multiple colours, blending here, there and everywhere and adding just the right amount of light to dark for that perfect fade. However, a lipstick that does all of this stressful business for you is just magical and I knew I needed to get one.
Of course, I love a bold look so it was none other than the red ombre that has joined my collection. I’ll be sharing looks on Instagram using this lipstick very soon I’m sure. Find this lipstick along with other shades here.
That’s all that has joined my little beauty collection this month but I’m really looking forward to either trying them for the first time or getting to experimenting with them even more so than I have already.
Have you picked up any new products recently? Let me know in the comments below as it may inspire my purchases for February!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and please let know in the comments section below any questions as always.
Until next time,
