2018 has been the year of change for me with some massive alterations and events taking place. It’s definitely been one to remember and I thought I’d create a post to reflect on the emotional rollercoaster of the last 12 months.
JANUARY
A few days into 2018, I chopped all of my hair off into an asymmetric bob and added a tonne of blonde highlights! You know what they say, once you change your hair, you’re a changed woman.
FEBRUARY
In February I worked with the brand Pro Fusion Cosmetics. This was an exciting collaboration for me as Pro Fusion were the first brand that I personally reached out to myself. Their products were also incredible! You can find my full review here.
MARCH
March was the month that I added tattoo number 4 to the collection. Having a bum tattoo for 9 hours straight has to be one of my biggest achievements of the year because it bloody hurt! However, it was well worth the pain. You can read all about it here.
APRIL
I first worked with Phase Zero Makeup in April and discovered a brand that has so many incredible products. To this date I still love absolutely everything I’ve tried from them. You can read my full reviews here, here and here.
MAY
This was without a doubt my biggest month of the year as on the 26th May, I finally had the surgery that I’ve always wanted. I underwent a Breast Reduction and Uplift and it was the best decision I’ve ever made! You can read all about my MYA journey here, here and here.
JUNE
In June I said goodbye to a job I hated and began working for Benefit Cosmetics once again as an Account Manager. I returned to not only the store I worked in before but also the exact same counter I first started my beauty career with.
JULY
I took a day trip to London with Marta for The Big Beauty Day Out where I met some of my favourite influencers including the wonderful Jake Jamie and Soph Does Nails. The day gave me an insight to what a well known beauty influencer does and has inspired me to much ever since to create better content and engage with followers more.
AUGUST
This month was another very exciting one for me as a became an auntie for the first time to a beautiful baby boy! Cassian filled a space in my heart I never even realised I had an fills so much of my life with joy. I may be biased but he’s the most incredible little human being I’ve ever met.
SEPTEMBER
The month of unforgettable memories was September when I went on my first holiday in 16 years! Enjoying a week of all inclusive cocktails and days by the pool with my friend Corrina, we were sunning it up and living our best life in Magaluf. I may have completely lost my voice from vodka that tasted like paint stripper but it was one of the best weeks of my life.
OCTOBER
In October I completed #7DaysOfHalloween on my Instagram and watched my followers gradually increasing and heading towards my end of year goal of 3K.
NOVEMBER
After swiping right and finding my match at the end of October, I became part of a Tinder success story and officially became a couple with my better half Josh.
DECEMBER
December was a big month for me (it always is) as I turned 23 and had the most wonderful Christmas ever. I was surrounded by the people who I love more than absolutely anything and I became so overwhelmingly happy that I kept randomly bursting into tears all month! It was the perfect end to 2018 and I couldn’t be more excited for next year.
That sums up the last 12 months for me and the most exciting year I’ve ever had. It’s been a bit of a mad one but I wouldn’t change it for the world.
I hope 2019 brings everybody an incredible year and everything you hope for.
Thank you so much for reading this post and the continual support on my blog and instagram throughout 2018.
SO much love & lipstick to all of you!
