I’m sure it’s no surprise to anybody that I’m head over heels in love with every product from Phase Zero Make-up and these new metal foil eyeshadows are no exception.
I was so excited to hear that Phase Zero were launching these little beauties as I’m completely obsessed with their liquid eyeshadows already and therefore, had really high hopes for the newbies. It’s safe to say I wasn’t disappointed when a little package arrived through my door and I swatched one of the shades for the first time.
The formula of these shadows is so unique and incredibly difficult to explain as I’ve never come across anything quite like it! Creamy, mousse-like and softer than velvet; these metal foil shadows blend like a dream and pack one hell of a pigmented punch.
I find the best way to use these shadows is by buffing them gently over the entire eyelid with a big fluffy brush and then setting the cream in place using one of the beautiful Phase Zero single eyeshadows pictured below. You can find these here. I always recommend using an eye primer underneath any eyeshadows (liquid or powder) as they help products to last so much longer and ensures that they also perform true to form.
I loved all of the shades that I’ve tried but in particular, the shades ‘Queen’ and ‘Army’ won my heart instantly. Queen is a beautiful champagne gold colour that compliments any look and sits perfectly as an inner corner highlight. Army is the most incredible khaki green shade and is perfect for a soft smoky eye.
That’s it for my review of these new Phase Zero beauties. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post as much as I’m enjoying using these shadows!
Thank you so much for reading.
Until next time,
