Liquid Eyeshadows Worth Lusting Over – The Latest Drop From Phase Zero MakeUp – Georgia Phelps Beauty

Hello world!

The last blog post that I published was just before my surgery and just under a week later, I’m now recovering at home in bed, eating too many cookies and trying to be productive by getting this blog post written and published.

As you’ve probably worked out from the title, this post is another exciting one about the latest launch from Phase Zero make-up. I’m so excited to announce that I’m now an ambassador for this incredible company which means that not only do I receive the latest launches from these guys but I also have a discount code to share with all of my lovely readers! Feel free to use the code GEORGIABEAUTY0(all capitals!) to receive £5 off your first order with Phase Zero. You can find their products here.

So, liquid eyeshadows? Not something I’d really experimented with before. Of course, I’ve tried the usual cream shadows that come both in pots and sticks. To be completely honest, I’ve never been blown away by these so this latest launch from Phase Zero had me feeling a little sceptical at first. However, I gave them a fair chance as the colours are bloody stunning and I haven’t looked back since.

I don’t think I’ve ever come across a product that’s easier and quicker to use than these little beauties. You literally smudge a small amount onto the eye, blend out using your finger or a fluffy brush and voila! You’re done. No base needed, no fancy combination of 10 colours needed for it to look good, none of that. Quick, easy and simple. My new way forward for sure because to be quite honest, I’m such a busy bee lately that I just don’t have time to be spending 20 minutes on my eyeshadow every day. With the new liquid shadows from Phase Zero I’m done with my eye make-up within 2-5 minutes.

Available in two different formulas, these liquid shadows are versatile, beautifully buildable and a must-have within your make-up bag.

The Coconut Eyeshadows are slightly more watery in consistency so I normally give them a bit of a shake before use to ensure that the pigment is still strong. They build and blend like a dream and make the perfect base underneath powder shadows too. My favourite shade is ‘lucky penny’ – a gorgeous molten gold colour that compliments the perfect bronzed look on a Summers day. I’ve got this shade in my bag at all times to glam up any make-up look in an instant.

The Metal Veil Eyeshadows are a little thicker in texture and slightly more ‘mousse’ like. I find that they’re more of a ‘cream’ texture as opposed to a liquid but they blend like a dream and pair perfectly with other cream/liquid shadows along with powder ones too. My favourite amongst the Metal Veils is ‘Fancy’ – a stunning champagne gold shade that brightens and lifts instantly. It works perfectly on the brow bone and inner corner too.

The wear time for both formulas is outstanding. I’ve only tried them without a base underneath so far and find that they stay put for a good 8-10 hours. I can imagine that with a base beforehand, the longevity will be even more impressive.

Another thing that I’m loving about these eyeshadows is the packaging. Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the pretty purple and pink pastel boxes? They’re so delicate looking on my dressing table and I’m obsessed.

That about sums up my review of the latest liquid shadows from Phase Zero. If you want to check out my first impressions post about the powder eyeshadows from this fab brand, follow the link here and have a little read. I love those eyeshadows just as much as I love these!
