It wouldn’t be a Blogmas series without a post dedicated to my favourite beauty products throughout 2018. Weirdly enough, this hasn’t been a difficult one to plan and coming up with products to include has been surprisingly easy. So, without further ado, here are my top products of the past year.
Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Palette
From the second I set eyes on this palette, I knew I needed it within my collection and I’m so glad it’s part of the family. I’ve used this beauty religiously on myself and within my freelance kit since purchasing it and by this point it looks pretty battered and bruised. I’ve even hit pan on one of the shades which for me to do within less than a year, speaks a thousand words!
Benefit Bad Gal Bang! Mascara
This new Benefit launch very quickly became my favourite mascara and has stayed in the hot spot ever since. I’ve always relied on Benefit for a good quality mascara and Bad Gal Bang! definitely didn’t disappoint. Delivering tonnes of volume with a super lightweight, long wear formula, this little wonder gives you the most beautiful full lashes imaginable.
Jeffree Star Blood Sugar Palette
Blood Sugar is one of my most talked about palettes of 2018 and a firm favourite of mine. The shades, the packaging and the formula are all exceptional and I’m so excited for Blood Sugar Part 2 to be released in the Summer.
Some of my favourite looks of the year have been created using this palette and I can’t wait to experiment with it even more throughout 2019.
Phase Zero Make-Up
2018 was the year of discovering new brands for me and working with these guys enabled me to discover some of my favourite products of the year. Trying out their powder eyeshadows, liquid shadows, metal foils and liquid lipsticks, I found an array of products that I fell in love with and use on a regular basis.
Pixi Glow Tonic
I began working with Pixi this year (my biggest blog achievement of the year!) and fell in love with every single product I tried from them. My favourite being their famous Glow Tonic. For years I wondered what the hype was all about and after one use, understood exactly why it was so heavily mentioned on social media.
I was lucky enough to be gifted a 500ml personalised bottle of this magic toner for Christmas and can’t quite get over how lucky I am! I’m forever grateful for incredible brands like Pixi who support smaller influencers like myself.
That about sums up my favourite products of the year! I wanted to keep it short and sweet so decided to stick to 5 products to make it a quick and easy read.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you’ve enjoyed this post!
