BLOGMAS DAY 20 – What’s In My Winter Make-Up Bag?

my-diary

Happy Thursday folks! How the hell is it Christmas in 5 days time?! The past month has absolutely flown by and I feel as if Christmas has jumped upon us quicker than ever. I’m nowhere near prepared and there’s definitely not enough hours in the day to do everything.

I’m sure this is the case for everybody but I change my make-up products every season as my skin constantly changes with the weather. In the winter, I definitely go for a more matte finish to my skin, more blusher than bronzer and slightly cooler tones on my eyes too sometimes. I thought it would be a nice idea to share my Winter make-up bag for day 20 of Blogmas so here we go.

bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation

Most of the year, I stay clear of powders as much as possible as I want the glowiest complexion possible. In the Winter however, I definitely embrace a more matte look regularly and tend to wear this powder by itself (or with a very light tinted moisturiser underneath) for a flawless, easily buildable base.

Loreal Infallible Blush Palette

Why have one blush when you can have five?! I’m so indecisive and I change my mind every day on what colours and tones I want to wear so this palette is perfect. It has a mixture of mattes and shimmers along with various different tones of pink. This palette is also beautiful on the eyes!

Soph X Make-Up Revolution Highlighter Palette

I’ve raved about her eyeshadow palette non-stop here on my blog so now’s the time her highlighter palette gets the spotlight too. If you like to be glowy enough that you’re visible from space, this is the palette for you! Super bright, super pigmented and a beautiful mix of light, medium and deep tones – this highlighter palette is everything you could wish for.

Smashbox Covershot Smoky Palette

I think it’s only right to rock your most bold smoky eye throughout the Winter. After all, it’s Christmas and you’ve gotta stand out in the crowd, right?  This palette is the easiest for creating the ultimate smoky eye as it features the most perfect base, transition and lid colours possible that work for every skin tone.

Mac Velvet Teddy

Undoubtedly one of the most famous lipsticks in makeup history. Made famous by Kylie Jenner, this MAC lipstick is the perfect matte nude and suits every skin tone. It’s comfortable, easy to wear with any make-up look and I’m wearing it non-stop this Winter.

There we have my current, day-to-day make-up bag that takes me about 5 minutes to slap on my face and get out the door! Of course there are other products here and there that I use but these are the staple ones that make the biggest impact.

Thank you so much for reading as always and hope you’ve enjoyed the post!

Until next time,
