As the weather gets colder, inevitably everybody’s skin is bound to change. Mine always natural gets slightly more dehydrated and I find myself having to layer on more moisturiser in the morning to prevent my skin from absorbing all of my foundation.
I tend to change up my skincare routine on a pretty regular basis so these products will probably be switched up over the next few weeks. However, these are currently the products that I use each morning to prep my skin for busy working days and harsh weather conditions.
bareMinerals Pure Plush Deep Cleansing Foam – £18.00
bareMinerals is one of my favourite brands for skincare as I’ve always seen incredible and instant results from their products. The Pure Plush cleanser is no exception to this. The tiniest amount foams up a surprising amount, it smells absolutely beautiful and leaves skin glowing.
Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer – £15.50
I was always that idiot who insisted toner didn’t do anything for my skin. In reality, it totally does. Turns out I was just using pretty shit ones! After discovering the Liz Earle Tonic Spritzer and using it every morning and night, I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin texture and the size of my pores has definitely reduced. It’s also great for lazy folk like me as you don’t need to faff around with cotton pads – you just spray it on!
Clarins Double Serum – £75.00 (50ml)
If your skin is super dehydrated like mine, a serum is absolutely essential to give your skin that extra drink of moisture that it needs. The Clarins Double Serum is not only the perfect hydration for any skin type but it also leaves skin looking brighter and plumper.
GlamGlow GlowStarter Mega Illuminating Moisturiser – £36.00
This moisturiser has been my absolute favourite for probably about a year now! It gives the most beautiful instant glow and leaves skin feeling nourished and revived. I’ve just finished one jar in ‘Nude’ and started using ‘Sunkissed’ instead which is slightly warmer. When the weather is as dreary as England is right now, you’ve gotta fake it ’til you make it. It also smells bloody delicious too!
No.7 Early Defence Eye Cream – £15.00
I’ve only recently started to use eye cream religiously and much like the results from using a toner, I’m seeing a huge difference! Those Gucci bags under my eyes are certainly shrinking and they’re not as dark as these winter mornings anymore. The No.7 Early Defence Eye Cream is super lightweight which makes it sit beautifully underneath make up and is great for refreshing tired eyes too.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil (Tangerine) – £19.00
I’m a sucker for anything orange flavoured so I knew this Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil would be a favourite of mine as soon as I spotted it on their counter. This is my go-to method of hydration for dry lips both morning and evening. It’s super silky, feels so luxurious and smells insanely good too.
That sums up day 12 of Blogmas so I hope you’ve enjoyed reading my skincare recommendations.
As always, thank you so much for reading!
