Georgia Phelps What’s in it for me..? were lovely enough to send me a couple of products to try out earlier this month and I’ve been eager to sit down and write up a review of them to share my thoughts and opinions with you all. I chose to try out their hand cream, mainly because I’m always searching for new ones and their body scrub because I’ve recently finished my Body Shop one and thought it would be ideal to try this one before running out to purchase a new one.

Hand Cream
I’m one of those annoying people that almost ‘picks’ on most hand creams a little and I always seem to find something not quite right with them. I guess I’m just a bit too obsessive over their texture as I don’t like my hands to feel like there’s anything on them.
The first thing I noticed with this particular hand cream was the smell. Oh my god, the smell. Never in my life have I come across a scent that has me swooning this much. So much so that I even took it into work with me and let all of my colleagues and friends try it out too because I simply couldn’t explain how good it was. Delivering the perfect mixture of citrus scents and coconut goodness, this hand cream smells like a tropical island that everybody would want to be stranded on forever.
The texture is smooth, silky and non-greasy which is always a huge contributing factor as to how much I like a hand cream. I never like a hand cream to sit heavily on my hands as I hate that clammy uncomfortable feeling so to find one that sinks straight in and is extremely lightweight in texture is really nice.
Body Scrub
At first glance, this product doesn’t really look much like a body scrub. It has a thick jelly-like texture with the small exfoliating particles and beads within it. Although it’s nothing like I’ve ever tried before, I love it! If anything, I think I actually prefer it to most other body scrubs that I’ve used in the past.
The jelly-like texture is very hydrating on the skin unlike most other body scrubs that make your skin feel stripped back and dehydrated. It glides across the body effortlessly and doesn’t drag or pull on the skin at all.
Again, let’s have a little mention of the scent. Once again, What’s in it for me..? you have well and truly out done yourself. This smells heavenly. You know those scents that you come across and for ages you’re thinking ‘that smells like something else but I can’t work out what’? it’s just like that! It took me ages to realise that the smell of this reminds me of Rowntrees Fruit Pastille ice lollies which I should add is my favourite ice lolly on the face of this earth. With an almost pineapple scent, once again you feel as if you should be sat on a Caribbean island sipping Mojitos and soaking up the sun. I’m completely obsessed.
