If you’ve followed my blog for a little while, you’ll already know that I’m a huge fan of Skinny Tan and swear by their products. Their 1 hour express mousse is my absolute favourite tan on the market (which reminds me, I need to pick up another bottle!) and i reach for it without even thinking when a fake tanning moment calls.
When Notion PR got back in contact with me last month asking if I wanted to try the latest launches from Skinny Tan, I was so excited to see what new product they were bringing into the market. Every new launch from Skinny Tan is always so exciting and groundbreaking within the industry so I couldn’t wait to see what they had in store.
When the Coconut Water Tanning Mist arrived through my door, I was instantly so excited to put it to the test. Looking and feeling like a make-up setting spray or rehydrating mist, I was intrigued to see how this formula and style of product would work as a fake tan but I had high hopes.
In preparation for a rare Friday night out, I prepped my skin using the Skinny Tan Primer (a gentle yet effective exfoliator for those stubborn dry areas) and spritz myself from head to toe using the Coconut Water Tanning Mist. Buffing the mist into my skin using Skinny Tan’s Dual Tanning Mitt, I only hoped that I hadn’t missed any huge areas of skin and went to bed praying that I didn’t wake up looking horrendous.
I wasn’t disappointed when I looked in the mirror the following morning as I was a gorgeous golden bronze shade and my skin felt incredible! Whereas most fake tans can leave your skin feeling dry and scaly, this mist left my skin feeling fresher, hydrated and replenished – such a pleasant surprise!
I’m now 4 days in since applying this tan and it still looks glorious! No streaks, no dodgy patches where it’s beginning to wear off and no horrible biscuit smell.
Overall thoughts? I’m pretty damn impressed. Yet again another incredible launch from Skinny Tan and this product will now be a firm staple within my fake tan routine. It’s quick, super easy and such a great product!
