And just like that, Sunday has rolled around again in the blink of an eye! I swear this year is flying by so quickly and before we know it and dare I say, I’ll be talking Blogmas again.
A newbie from Dermalogica arrived through my door a few weeks ago so I’ve been putting it to the test and thought it was about time I shared my thoughts on their latest product launch.
As we theoretically begin to step into Spring time, I’m beginning to think more carefully about what skincare products I’m using on a daily basis to ensure that they’re right for this time of year and my skin’s seasonal behaviours. Moisturiser is the main product that I switch up between seasons so a completely new one within the industry is super exciting and I couldn’t wait to begin trialling it.
Prisma Protect is an innovative and very intriguing product, something that personally I’ve not yet come across within the skincare market. Don’t get me wrong, I know there are a couple of moisturisers already available that protect against UV light but this product does so much more than just this and really is one of it’s kind.
Providing broad spectrum defense, this light-activated multitasking moisturiser also prevents future signs of skin damage and hydrates consistently throughout the day.
Prisma Protect contains intelligent drone technology which is activated by light and works to boost your skin’s natural luminosity. This is something that grabbed my attention right away as I find my skin tends to be quite dull when I’m make-up free so a potential increase in luminosity is something that I always strive for.
It’s antioxidant formula helps to protect skin against pollution and environmental stressors so it’s perfect if like me, you live in the city and worry about pollution aggravating your skin. Despite how much I cleanse my skin and try to take care of it, this is a worry of mine so to have the added help from my moisturiser in preventing this, is ideal.
As we step into warmer months, an essential part of my skincare routine is the SPF that I use on a daily basis. I want to keep my face looking as plumped and youthful as possible, for as long as possible so I always ensure that I’m using an SPF each morning to protect my skin. Prisma Protect has a broad spectrum, SPF 30 which provides protection against all levels of UV damage. A bio-ferment from sage helps to maintain an even skin tone and improves pigmentation.
Overall, I’ve really been enjoying this moisturiser. It’s built in moisture magnets have been providing all day hydration which is ideal for my dehydrated skin and I can definitely notice a brighter complexion too. My skin feels generally much more smooth and appears more plumped.
I’d definitely recommend this product if you’re after a multitasking moisturiser with built in SPF as this one is fab. I can’t quite get over how much unique technology is in such a small tube and I’m massively impressed by the results so far.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post!
