Finally we’re clear of January and into a new month! I don’t know why but I find a new month so exciting as it means new challenges, new goals and a new to-do list to make my way through (well, attempt to make my way through and probably fail miserably) so I’m personally very glad it’s February and can’t wait to get my teeth into everything new this month.
I thought I’d start the month with another first impressions post as these always seem to be pretty popular with you guys. My most viewed blog post on here is a first impressions one so I thought why not start the month off with something similar and review a brand that’s fairly new to the UK, Profusion Cosmetics.
I was kindly sent a couple of their palettes recently and I’ve been trying them out, testing them fully and getting as much of an opinion on them as I possibly can to write this blog post. When I shared the palettes on my Instagram stories, a few people were asking for a full review so here we are!
Who are Profusion Cosmetics?
Profusion Cosmetics are a make-up brand originally founded in LA 20 years ago. They’re a brand that I’m super excited to be working with as they love colour and creativity. Their products are high quality but with an affordable price tag and they’re also cruelty-free too.
Launched in the UK last month, Profusion Cosmetics have brought to us two incredible new collections – The Artistry Collection and The Trendsetter Collection.
Strobe & Glow Artistry Palette – £12.50
If you’ve followed my blog or Instagram for a while, you’ll know that my favourite make-up product in the world is highlighter. I love nothing more than to be visible from space with a blinding highlight and if I’m not glowy, then it’s not worth leaving my house.
One of the products that I received was the Strobe & Glow highlighting palette from the Trendsetter Collection which was honestly made for me. The palette consists of 9 different shimmery powders that enable you to create a gentle ‘lit from within’ glow to a beaming, full glam glow. The shades are all beautiful when used individually or look stunning when layered over one another to create your custom shade of highlight too.
The packaging is sturdy, great for travelling and even comes with a super soft little brush for application too!
Pro Face – £15.00
This is without a doubt one of the best value for money sets I think I’ve ever come across. I’ve already decided that next time I go away for a few days, this palette will be coming with me as it literally contains everything that you need to create a full face natural or glam look.
This little beauty book of goodness contains 20 highly pigmented eyeshadows in a mix of matte, satin and shimmer finishes, 2 duo brow powders (meaning 4 different brow powder shades!) with a clear brow wax, 2 beautiful blinding highlighters, 3 blushers, 2 bronzers (both a light and a medium shade) and 2 brushes – one for the eyes and one for the face. I honestly can’t believe how much you get inside this palette and how high quality it all is too. More often that not, when you have a palette with a large number of products inside, the quality is compromised and the products end up not great. With this palette however, everything is consistently good and for the price, you literally can’t go wrong.
The packaging is a soft padded, waterproof material with the palette name embossed on the front along with a photo of what’s inside.
From what I’ve tried so far, I absolutely love Profusion Cosmetics! Their products are such fab quality considering how low they’re priced and I can’t wait to try more from the brand in the future.
Thank you so much to Fuel PR for sending over these Profusion Cosmetics goodies and giving me the chance to try out and review them.
Also a massive thank you to those of you that have read this post! I hope you’ve enjoyed the read.
Until next time,
Georgia x
