It was only a matter of time before the famous James Charles x Morphe palette had it’s own dedicated post here on my blog because let’s be real, it’s absolutely beautiful.
I wanted this palette from the second I set eyes on it when James announced it on his instagram months ago. Always selling out immediately, it became a stressful task to get my hands on it and I was ready to scream. My wonderful parents however, surprised me with it on my birthday and I couldn’t wait to get my brushes dipped in and play with the colour.
There’s no denying that the colour selection within this palette is second to none. With a range of neutrals, brights and bolds, it’s super easy to create any desired look. There’s also a great mix of both matte and metallic shades to give a range of texture amongst the shadows. I’m never one to use just a matte or metallic palette so the mix of shades is perfect for me.
With a beautiful array of shades, you’d also be hoping for perfect pigmentation and this palette doesn’t disappoint. The shadows are super soft and a dream to blend so even the boldest and brightest of shades blur beautifully into one another.
Morphe have definitely stepped up their game recently in regards to packaging too as the palette feels much sturdier than previous palettes and in my opinion, looks more premium. I also love the fact that the shades all have their own individual names too. It makes describing looks on instagram so much easier.
I’ve mainly only created one stand out look so far which I’ve shared on my instagram already so if you follow me over there, it’ll already be familiar to you. For those who don’t, here it is:
Thank you so much for reading today’s post and I hope you enjoyed it!
